The 52 cards are ordered by a sorting sequence called quadration. The ordering you then have can then be quadrated again. This process is how the 90 different tablets are established. After doing it 90 times, the deck is back in the order in which it started.

The Personality Card is better at describing how you appear to other people; and your Birth Card is better at illuminating how You appear to Yourself.

Underlying Cards provide a smaller influence than Direct Cards, perhaps about one-tenth as powerful.

Yes, everyone with your birthday has the same Birth Card, and most cards appear on more than one of the days in the year (some are more frequent). The other cards are only the same if you were born in the same year. But, if you and your friend have the same Birth Card, and are within 7 years of age, you could both be playing the same 7-Year Card.

These readings come from the Tablets; starting from the position your Birth Card is in on the proper Tablet and counting right-to-left, one Card per period for the seven steps that you take before going to the next Tablet.
